I'm not big on alcoholic drinks, so this (and basically every drink recipe I share here) is alcohol free. I've never been a fan of the taste of alcohol, and I really only ever keep wine and vodka on hand for cooking. But that being said, you can definitely add some of your favorite boozy drink in place of the sparkling water for an added spike if you like!

All you need to make this drink is cranberry + apple juice, sparkling water, and ice. I also like to add some fresh cranberries and diced apple for garnish!

The cranberry juice and apple juice are musts - but you can choose between low sugar or regular. Do keep in mind though that this recipe doesn't feature any added sugar, so you may need to sweeten to taste depending on the type of juice you go with. Mine was perfect for my taste!

The sparkling water can be substituted for alcohol if you want to flip this into a cocktail. You could also use any other neutral flavored sparkling beverage or even just plain filtered water.

To make your juice, simply combine the cranberry juice, apple juice, and sparkling water in a large jar or jug. Mix to combine and pour into your cups. Serve over ice and (optional) fresh cranberries and apple slices!

If you want, you could even just pour the drinks straight into the cups.

If using sparkling water, serve the mocktails immediately to avoid having them go flat. If you used alcohol or plain filtered water, you can store your drink in the fridge for up to 7 days - and then pour over your ice and fresh fruits when you're ready to serve!

    Total Time: 5 minutes
    Servings: 3 people (approx.)

    Ingredients

    • ¾ cup cranberry juice
    • ¾ cup apple juice
    • ½ cup sparkling water * see notes for customizations
    • fresh cranberries and diced apple, (optional - for serving)
    • ice, for serving

    Instructions

    • In a large jar or pitcher, combine cranberry juice, apple juice, and sparkling water. Mix to combine.
    • Add some fresh cranberries, diced apple, and ice to your serving cups. Pour in your drink mixture, and serve!

    Notes

    * You can substitute sparkling water for any other neutral flavored carbonated drink or even just plain filtered water. If you want to make this a cocktail, add in your favorite alcoholic drink in place of the sparkling water.
** This recipe does not feature any additional sugar - it relies 100% on the sugar in your cranberry and apple juice. For my taste, it was perfect in terms of sweetness - especially with the addition of fresh cranberries and diced apple. If you want a sweeter drink, feel free to add some simple syrup or stevia to taste.
